Plot
"Star Trek: Lower Decks" focuses on the support crew serving on the USS Cerritos, one of Starfleet’s least important ships, in the year 2380. Mariner, Boehmler, Rutherford and Tandy must juggle their duties and their social lives, often while the ship is rocked by a large crowd of science fiction anomalies. The ship’s bridge crew includes Captain Carol Freeman, Commander Jack Ransom, Lieutenant Shax and Doctor T. Anna. This is a retelling of 1973-74’s "Star Trek: The Animated Series," but with a decidedly more adult tone and humor.
